Baron srl is proud to announce the acquisition of UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 certification. The environmental rules dictated by these standards represent a sensitive matter to our company, which is why we feel this certification as a symbolic recognition of our environmental commitment.

UNI EN ISO 14001 becomes part of Baron Srl certifications, integrated with the consolidated UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI ISO IEC 27001.

 

The ISO 14001 standard specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving an environmental management system. The new ISO 14001: 2015 introduces the need to understand the internal and external context in which the company operates. It examines the needs and expectations of the parties, considers the life-cycle perspective in the environmental management of the products and services offered, identifies and evaluates the risks associated to the environmental management system.

As the ISO 14001 standards are not required by any law, the implementation of such requirements is up to a company’s will.

In Baron Srl the field of application of the legislation focuses on the following activities: design of certified on-board weighing systems, production, sale, installation, of the aforementioned on-board vehicle weighing systems, with first verification in self-certification and dedicated assistance.

The UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 certification is also valid as regards the on-board RF-ID identification systems for intelligent bins and access control. The standard applies to design, production, sales, installation and assistance activities.
